Solid next entry in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series

Content warning Light spoilers about the dungeon level(s) in this book, nothing major.

While very fun and entertaining, this entry of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series (and the entire train track theme) confused me a lot at times, but I believe that is the author’s intention here as the train tracks and colored lines are supposed to be confusing for all characters too. I will 100% continue reading this series. GLURP GLURP!

As always funny and entertaining and just plan good

I love Princess Donut so much that I think she is one my favorite protagonists ever. I also like Carl and how he grows into a leader. I'm very keen on finding out how he plans to make the Dungeon builders pay for it all, which gets more and more his main motive for going on.

And the books of this series are just fun for a person like who played alot of computer games back then, and ... feels at home in a dungeon, maybe.

Always new interesting plot twists inside the dungeon and outside of it (in the real world, so to say). Always funny group dynamics and funny interventions from outside. And maybe the best of all is item descriptions by the game AI in the book, which are always funny and interesting.

Will continue this series for sure.

Kein Überleben ohne Zusammenarbeit

Carl findet sich in einer komplexen Tunnelebene wieder und stellt schnell fest, dass ein Überleben nur möglich sein kann, wenn die Crawler zusammenarbeiten. Die Geschichte erinnert in Kernelemente zunehmend an die Tribute von Panem ohne zu sehr zu kopieren. Ganz leichter Ermüdungseffekt bei der Handlung, was der Story aber nicht wirklich abtut.
